The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds to support the Barbara Davis Center for Diabetes, where thousands of patients of all ages from all over the world receive the finest diabetes care available.
The Associação Protectora Dos Diabéticos de Portugal (APDP) is the main Diabetes public organization in Portugal and definitely the best contact in case you need assistance while traveling in this country. In a single, common center, it has everything from diabetologists, nutritionists, nurses, cardiologists, psychologists, urologists, opthtalmologists, to a specialized pharmacy.
